Tommy Larsen, Membership Director

Tommy Larsen serves as the 2025 Membership Director for the New Braunfels Jaycees, bringing over 15 years of leadership and community engagement experience. Currently, he works as a Customer Success Manager at Prompt.io, specializing in building effective text messaging programs for political campaigns, advocacy groups, and nonprofits across North America. His role focuses on customer onboarding and retention, leveraging insights from his extensive career in politics. Tommy previously served as an Aide to Congressman John L. Mica (FL-07) and has worked at various levels of state and national political organizations.Originally from Florida, Tommy graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2013. He went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Political Management from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University in 2017. These experiences solidified his passion for civic leadership and enhanced his expertise in digital communication strategies.

Since moving to New Braunfels in 2021, Tommy has immersed himself in the community, drawn by its strong sense of togetherness and family-friendly atmosphere. As a member of the New Braunfels Jaycees, he has served as the Committee Chair for Projects and City Beautification Committee, revitalizing a volunteer committee originally established in the 1930s and leading impactful service projects around town. He joined the Membership Committee in 2024 and is eager to continue contributing to its efforts as the 2025 Board Sponsor. Recognized as a Rising Star of New Braunfels for the Class of 2023 and the 2023 Jaycee of the Year, Tommy has made significant contributions to the organization’s success.

Outside of his Jaycees involvement, Tommy enjoys spending time with his wife Kaitlyn and their two daughters, often exploring New Braunfels’ parks like Cypress Bend, Landa Park, and Fischer Park, or cooking family meals from scratch, or perfecting brisket and beef ribs for FSU game days. Tommy stays active in his faith as a parishioner at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and focuses on uplifting his community. He graduated from New Braunfels’ City University Program in 2024. Tommy earned his Eagle Scout award in 2007.

Looking ahead, Tommy is excited to expand the Jaycees’ membership, fostering engagement and empowering the next generation of community leaders in New Braunfels.
